Course Instructor

Founding Partner Bayo Windapo

Bayo Windapo is a founding partner and leader of Archithera. Before his involvement with Archithera, Bayo worked as an Associate Architect at Wolff Architects Cape Town. He contributed to the success of several award-winning projects, such as the Watershed at the V&A Waterfront and the Baháʼí House of Worship in the DRC. Bayo is highly skilled in various software and programming languages such as Python, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper and Dynamo. He obtained his master’s in architecture from the University of Cape Town in 2015. Bayo is a founding Computational Design South Africa member and is committed to promoting computational tools in the AEC industry to enhance project quality and efficiency and reduce costs. Apart from leading the team at Archithera, Bayo is also the BIM Lead and Technology developer at BPAS Architects. He has also lectured part-time at the University of Cape Town Architecture School and is a design instructor at the School of Explorative Architecture (SEA). Bayo’s dedication to incorporating technology into AEC projects is what drives him. He is passionate about utilising the latest tools and techniques to improve workflows, communication, and collaboration between project stakeholders.
